Privacy policy

What we collect — Name, email, mailing address, county, and membership tier for members; name and email for newsletter subscribers; event RSVPs; and payment information, which is processed by our payment provider and never stored by us.

What we do with it — Administer memberships, send you what you asked for, invite you to events in your area, and count ourselves accurately.

What we never do — We never sell, rent, or trade your information, and we never share it with candidates, parties, campaigns, or data brokers. The only third parties who touch it are the service providers that run our payments and email, under contract, solely to deliver what you asked for. There is no “trusted partner” data-sharing clause.

Cookies — We use only what’s necessary to run the site and understand aggregate traffic. No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking, no ad networks.

Your rights — Ask us what we have about you and we’ll tell you. Ask us to delete it and we will, except for records we’re legally required to keep. privacy@lcvoters.com

Terms of use

Site content may be reproduced for non-commercial civic and educational purposes with attribution. Voter guides and the Empty Ballot List must be reproduced complete — every candidate in a race, or none. That condition is not negotiable, because a partial guide is a biased guide.

Nothing on this site is legal advice. Election law, filing requirements, deadlines, and reporting rules change. Verify everything with your county elections office and the Washington Secretary of State before relying on it. We work hard to keep this site accurate and we will still occasionally be wrong.

Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. If any part of this site is hard for you to use, tell us and we’ll fix it — that’s a real commitment, not a paragraph. access@lcvoters.com
